1. Grease Pump

Before each startup and after pumping operations, clean the entire vehicle thoroughly. Check and keep the grease storage tank of the grease pump fully filled with grease. Normal operation is confirmed when clean grease overflows from the mixing bearing and the shaft heads of the S-tube.

Keep the lubrication system clean during operation. Strictly prevent dust and other impurities from entering, and avoid contact with acidic or alkaline substances. Clean the entire system once every 500 working hours.

2. Swing Valve Cylinders

Each of the two swing valve cylinder bases is equipped with a grease fitting. Based on actual working conditions, apply grease through the grease fittings every 5 to 10 days to ensure normal vehicle operation.

Lubricating grease must be injected through the designated grease fittings. It is recommended to use genuine, clean, contamination-free EP 1 extreme pressure lithium grease for pumping equipment. Compared with thinner No. 000 or No. 00 grease, this grade better adheres to lubrication points and is less prone to extrusion loss or runoff.

3. Pressure Regulator

The factory default pressure of the system pressure regulator (equipped with a pressure gauge) is 6 bar. The pressure may be slightly adjusted according to actual conditions, but must not be increased further to protect the service life of related components.

When system malfunctions occur, first check whether the pressure gauge reads 6 bar. Then disconnect the air pipe to verify whether compressed air is discharging (accompanied by exhaust noise).

4. Maintenance of Boom, Outriggers and Turntable

Grease fittings are pre-installed at all boom articulation points, connecting shafts of the four outriggers and supports, as well as the turntable. Lubricate all these grease points every 10 to 15 days. Fully lubricate until grease overflows from each fitting.

5. Slewing Reducer

Replace the gear oil of the slewing reducer once every 500 working hours. In addition, apply grease to all gear surfaces inside the slewing mechanism every 3 months on a regular basis. Immediately remove any dirt accumulated on gear surfaces during inspection to avoid gear damage, operational downtime and unnecessary maintenance costs.

Furthermore, use a grease gun to inject grease into the slewing bearing through the lubrication port every week. If any fastening nuts or bolts are found loose, replace them at once. Do not continue construction operations to prevent safety accidents.
