Strengthen the management of maintenance concrete pumps to ensure safe operation. Operators should properly prepare maintenance machinery and equipment, and perform seasonal maintenance. For maintenance machinery and equipment, equipment operators are required to strictly follow the "Machinery Operation Procedures," and maintenance personnel must perform timely maintenance according to the "Machinery Operation Instruction Manual" to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Timely summarize equipment information, master safety technical indicators, and strengthen education and training for operators to enhance their safety awareness.
When using a concrete pump for construction, every worker must prioritize safety, as even a careless operation can cause serious injury—ranging from delaying construction progress to threatening worker safety.
Hazard 1: Eye injuries caused by splashing concrete, hydraulic oil, cement, or other materials.
Prevention: When the hopper is in use, no one is allowed to stand under or around it. When inspecting the equipment, never look directly into the pipeline opening.
Hazard 2: Injuries caused by disassembling pipelines while they are still under pressure.
Prevention: Before removing pipe joints, loosen the bolts and gently shake the pipe to relieve the pressure.
Hazard 3: Injuries caused by pump tipping due to improper hoisting or unstable center of gravity.
Prevention: Trailer-mounted pumps must be firmly secured to the vehicle during transport. Truck-mounted forced mixer pumps use five hydraulic cylinders to freely adjust the center of gravity, allowing the mixing system to move forward and backward, ensuring a safe center of gravity during travel.
Hazard 4: Injuries caused by unsecured delivery pipes sliding or falling off, or by pipe joint/pipe bursts.
Prevention: All pipe clamps must be tightly fastened to ensure a secure seal and prevent leakage. If pipes are significantly worn due to long-term use, replace all pipes in high-pressure areas with new ones.
Hazard 5: Injuries caused by body parts entering the hopper or moving mechanisms while the pump is operating.
Prevention: Workers are strictly prohibited from stepping on the hopper to avoid falling due to machine vibration or getting feet caught in the screen.
Hazard 6: Electric shock injuries caused by damaged internal or external cable sheathing, or faulty electrical components leading to electrification of the pump.
Prevention: If any damage is found to electrical component connections or wires, they must be replaced immediately.
